Hi, I’m Paul Berenștain. I’m a filmmaker, video editor, and photographer based in Bucharest, with over 10 years of experience working across film, television, and freelance projects.

I studied Professional Sound and Video Technology at the University of Salford (UK), then earned a Master’s Degree in The Art of Directing Film at UNATC Bucharest. Since then, I’ve worked in both structured broadcast environments and independent creative settings—most notably spending the last five years as a Video Editor at Romanian National Television.

My work spans short films, branded content, photography, and post-production. I’m drawn to projects that value narrative clarity, thoughtful pacing, and strong visual composition—whether I’m directing, editing, filming, or shooting stills.
